Training courses on “Welding Technology for Engineers”

Introduction: welding is Metal joining is one of the oldest metal working process with widely used in all Engineering applications, viz. Infrastructural Projects, Steel Plants Refineries, Ports, Structural Fabrications, Power Plants, and many others. Simply, it can be said, where in metal, there is welding, to bring two pieces together.

In spite of rapid technological changes in welding, one important point still remains in the mind of every Engineer/Scientists, how to produce a defect free weld joint. Sometimes, the Engineers in shop floor, finds or feels a huge gap between the college days and the practical fields.

In consideration of the Governments special thrust, on “Skill development programme”, an on-line course has been developed. It has been also planned for off line course also, for a choice among the participants.
